Do we know why Eminem chose the name "Stan" in particular? I've seen people speculate that he did that BECAUSE of the "stalker + fan" portmanteau, but I've never found evidence for it. (My assumption is that it was just an easy name to work into a song, unless there's something deeper I don't know)
