Agreed. Outcome shows critical reviewer likely missed the mark, and editors shouldn't have weighted that person's comments so heavily.

GOP already played this card in 2016 when McConnell refused to schedule a hearing for Obama's nominee, Merrick Garland. Flouting the rules got them a conservative majority on the SC. No reason to stop there.

When I was eight, I told my great-grandmother, "You're going to die b/f me, b/c you're old!" She snapped, "Listen, the old *must* go, but the young *may* go." Scared me beyond measure. I went home and told my mother that I was dying! :-)

Sinclair hoped to cut into Kimmel's ratings last night by not making the show available in real time. It's true tho, they don't seem to have anyone on board who understands that there's something called the internet.

PPl who are not trained to do research seriously underestimate how much work it wld take to produce "fake" data rather than just reporting the actual numbers.

Except when/if a Democrat is bold enough to hold institutions hostage, the conservative Supreme Court will rule, "nope, you've exceeded your authority." Doubt that? Ask Biden about his student loan forgiveness initiative.

Octavia Butler's Kindred. I'd read the distorted accounts of enslavement and thought about going back in time to see for myself what was really happening. The protagonist travels (involuntarily) back to her ancestors' plantation. Read this book. Butler is a marvel and her book will change you.
