Reminds me of a recent Madden Championship where the team was literally just offensive linemen and running backs, and the player didn't throw the football once and won. I think 2020? This seems relevant, though I'm not sure how.

I drift to a fair amount of heavy anime aesthetic RPGs (Trails of, Lunar, Tales of, Persona/Atlus, etc) so those feel culturally steeped to me too. Currently with Yotei I'm also on JP voice over for the same reason. Though once you understand a bit of the language it feels odd reading the subtitles

Personally also one of the few games where I go with the English VA, because it fits the aesthetic/writing so well too. Normally I tend to play on JP voices, but not that case.

They are what their record says they are. My guess is this is closer to a lottery team than a playoff one, and I'm very curious what that means for the next 5 years as a result

That's a very fair point, I hadn't made the connection as I haven't listened to a ton of Jane's Addiction but a cursory sampling now.. well it's definitely there

In my fourth year advanced electricity and magnetism course we had take home finals. As a result I wrote in the margins each time I had a cup of coffee, as I foolishly (in my youth) left it until I had ~24 hours to finish. I still wonder what the notes said after the sixth cup until the 9th(?)

Joys of UPEI Physics. Newtonian Mechanics was a 201 at the time, Diffies a 301. Had to do advanced Calculus 251(?) and 252(?) before taking diffies. Coincidentally my best grade was also diffies as a result lol

Diffies remains my personal favourite math class I ever took in undergrad. Though I suspect it was because I had to take Advanced Newtonian mechanics before taking Diffies so it was kinda the ultimate light bulb course for me
