Chalky's have the release date for the new Blake's 7 - The Collection Series B (2) Blu-ray as Monday 10th November. This will be the slowest 3-4 months ever.

I've managed to find 2 copies of an original advert for my favourite film Night of the Demon that appeared in 'What's On In London' magazine in November 1957, so have framed one up that looks rather splendid 👹

It's been a good week for X-Philes, first the Lego set news and now a new book. The Legacy Of The X-Files was released as a hardback in 2023 (normally around £80-95) but is now out in a more affordable paperback. Really looking forward to reading this.

I've not had a Lego set since i was a nipper but this may change now there's an awesome X-Files set coming out. Bloody hell 😍

At last 'Vamberry, the wine merchant' [MUSG] aka my local Morrison's have stocked up on the Holmes wine, and a splendid-looking bottle of plonk it is too. The Dancing Men on the reverse label is a great touch. I shall save one to drink with my annual Christmas viewing of Blue Carbuncle.

I don't buy that many Sherlock Holmes pastiches but paying less than a fiver for a mint condition hardback that was only released in September is a no-brainer.

Star Wars Day is going to be spent re-watching the best Star Wars production and one of the best series of any genre that I've ever seen 😍

I can't comment on the film as I haven't seen it (yet) but I've had the soundtrack playing in the car on and off over the last few months and it is wonderfully dark and Gothic.

Speaking of Gollum, I retired my reading copies of The Hobbit/LOTR that I bought in the early 1990's this week for some large print books from Harper Collins for around a tenner each (40% discount code: HCUK40OFF). My eyes aren't particularly bad but the font size is so small in the older books
