I had 240p internet quality up till 2021 so this whole social media thing is a struggle for me. Mostly here just to find things to model.
It been a bit but i'm back to my normal haunt of blender at 3 am so here a w.i.p.
Was originally going to wait for the artist to post a side view of their character but my insomnia been acting up so might as well be productive.

Here the tri count and A-pose. I was stuck in rigging hell, so animation ended up a bit choppier than I would of like.

Texturing, rigging, shape keys, animation, and now composting.
The list of things I need to practice keep getting longer it seems....

The artist has a lot of nice designs so I might try to model another one in the future once I practice a bit more.
(Also Fair warning I try my hand at composting so the glare might be a bit too strong)

Well my insomnia came back so i'm back in blender.
Here a wip of what I'm currently modeling.
I figure out how to do frills just in time for blender to announce a way easier way to make them in 5.0...
Also character has a round head so I'm struggling to figure out how to make a face that look good.

Here is the t-pose and tri count. When with low poly since I believe the artis had there own higher poly model.
I'm shock that I made this in a reasonable amount of time. Either i'm getting slightly better or the light of carcosa has shine on me.

A low poly-ish @drheartsuccess.bsky.social since they were kind enough to point me in the direction of some drawing resources a good while back.

Years of being deleted by modelers might have made the default cube a little angry.

Slight side tangent but man every time I look at a ps2 game for research I'm always way more impressed than modern games.
Also I do miss when square put out good games.

Here the t pose and tri count as well.
Let see, I made a custom shadow map for the face and a simple hair shine map as well.
I ended up mixing the different workout clothes together and had to change the logo on the top since I kept getting some warping there, So here hoping it turned out alright.

Figured I would post a W.I.P of the current oc I'm modeling.
Going to try (and probably fail) at remember to post in progress stuff so this account doesn't seem dead 97.6% of the time.

Welp after 2 years I finally hit 1000 hours in blender, I'm fairly happy about that. I read somewhere it take 10,000 hours to be a master at something so 10% there!
Anyway I want to post some screen shots of my old crap models for inspiration for other people to give blender a try.

Here The T-pose. Hair style might be slightly off since I mostly have only a front view to go off on. Also ended up with a Ngon after a sub div but lucky it was under the armpit.
All and all I think it turn out alright for 2 weeks of work.

Messing around with shaders again. So here a low poly pixelated shimonada station.
Monster hunter come out in a few days so i'm going to hopefully find one more thing to model before the game destroys my productivity for the next month.
