Captain Future (TOEI anime very loosely based on Hamilton's pulp stories) is so obscure in the English speaking world, no GIF exists. The mutilated German dub was a huge part of my childhood and the series still has a cult following. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain...

This annoys me so much! The "University of Cambridge" isn't a building or even place, it's the overarching administrative body of its constituent colleges and other institutions, research labs, hospitals and so on.
We actually see Clare College, King's College Chapel and Gibbs' Building.

Today I found out that @mitchbenn.bsky.social was in the 1976 East German SciFi film Im Staub der Sterne. Not quite sure how he managed it. Time travel?
A man with dark blond slightly wavy hair and beard bearing an almost uncanny resemblance to Mitch Benn from about 10 or so years ago. The beard is going grey in the chin part. He is wearing a silver jumpsuit with a wide, dark blue stripe down the centre front. A symbol resempling two mirrored letters P with the straight lines next to each other is on his chest.

I actually still have this at my parents' house. It was actually "seaworthy", it would float properly in the bathtub as it has a heavy weight in the hold.
A mate used to have the medieval castle so I regular took my ship to his house and lay siege to it with my working (spring operated) cannon.
The first edition of the Playmobil pirate ship. A sturdy plastic sailing ship model with two masts and four sails. It has five crew members: The captain in black at the helm, one in red wearing a bandana, one in green with a tricorn, both on deck in front of the cabin, another in red with tricorn holding a shiny megaphone at the bow, and a dark skinned person wearing a fez and holding a telescope in the crow's nest. The pirate flag is red with a yellow skull and crossbones. A treasure chest sits on a platform suspended from a crane. A rowboat is tied to the big ship, trailing behind.

Bring back one cancelled TV show.
Other than the excellent writing and acting performances, what Carnivale made great was the cinematography. I still haven't seen anything like it since on TV. You could take any frame and it would be a perfectly framed, lit and posed photograph.

A ferris wheel can be seen in the background. The series was cancelled after the first two seasons, concluding the first of three planned story arcs meaning there was at least some closure and no cliffhanger.
