I am comforted by your openness about your love for Alice and grief at her loss. We put down our best beloved kitty in September after a fast moving cancer, and it hurts. When stories of Alice come up on my feed, I feel less alone in my own grief.

It was the diamond worksheet that really got me. Sin is like a metal pick that will crack the crystal of your life. God planned for you to be a big beautiful diamond, but after sinning (= not submissive) you will only be a tiny diamond. That took me a long time to get over.
