Tbh just think of the game in every moment as what you should do (fluid priorities) and then what you can do (mechanics) Start simple.

Once this is understood, strong vs weak ‘support’ options can be interpreted, and why k/d cannot represent the value you provide during a game.
“Only a fool pits their biggest weakness against their enemies greatest strength” And that’s how Splatoon gameflow logic works imo. (3/3)

And here’s my interpretation of these weapons’ gameplan:
Most supports should try to avoid risky fights due to the high opportunity cost of their life. When you die, your team loses a valuable special, map control, your key position and the objective. That is just how these weapons work. (2/3)

If this helps, self-harm is strictly 'taboo' in Chinese culture. It is seen as disrespectful to the people who raised you, and ignorant towards the pain your mother went through during childbirth. You should cherish your body being healthy and strong since not everyone was born with that privilege.

I'll keep striving to improve myself, and be a good role model to earn ppl's trust and respect for me. Thank you, Splatoon community. (8/8)

I used to feel ashamed of myself for being foolish and stubborn. But looking back, it was just a small step on the long road of self-improvement and reflection. I just couldn't see how fundamentally different I was from this community in many ways. (7/?)

After a few years of getting to know ppl from this community, while I have to honest and admit that I don't necessarily agree with all their ideals and way of life, their spirit for protecting their core values despite much external pressure is worth high praise and appreciation. (6/?)

(A bit more sensitive topic)
2. Learning about the lgbtq+ community
I live in Hong Kong. Here, we aren't taught about the topic in education and our (Chinese) traditional values see it as unacceptable. It was my first time interacting with this circle and there was a lot I didn't know about. (5/?)

Nowadays, I try my best to see the good in other people's input, even when it doesn't fit in with my beliefs or understanding. (4/?)

1. I've learnt to be more open-minded and have more tolerance.
It wasn't easy for me to accept other ppl's ideas, especially when they were unproven or worse, shown to have failed in the past. But now I realize that everyone tries to contribute in their own way and have their own ideals. (3/?)

My name is Karl and I'm a ESTJ-A (executive) type person. I have an aptitude for bringing ppl on my side through honesty, confidence, hard work and strong mentality. However, I'm mostly insensitive to emotions and sometimes alienate ppl bc of it. Which brings me to the things I've learnt (2/?)
