I believe it was Dostoyevsky who said “Later, Fucker”.

Irish abroad in Seattle. Longtime appreciator of quality nonsense.
I think this adds an element of grandeur to the whole affair. Makes it feel appropriate.

In fact if they insist on this Lemass nonsense they should go the whole hog and name it the Count Sean Lemass International Airport.

I can see it. Congrats!

Look, if the grift comes tumbling down without the grifter-in-chief at the helm then there is no amount of money that is unreasonable. They could offer a hundred trillion and it would make perfect sense.

You can have a big slice of nothing or a tiny slice of the greatest con on earth.

The Monaco GP should fit into a YouTube short. That’ll bring them in in droves.

I just know that a stamp collecting vid is now going to autoplay in the background when I’m not paying attention, start to finish, I’ll accidentally click like and subscribe while unlocking my phone and that’s it, I’ll have to uninstall YouTube.

Shur back then I used to run a boutique punt service for some well to do families who didn’t want to go to the Euro. They’d pay me in punts and I’d shop for them in euros. Triple the price of course but everyone was happy. They were the days.

Back then I was taxiing 45 quid bottles of water to destinations around Ballsbridge and Ranelagh in a Mercedes S Class. One bottle at a time, couldn’t be seen to be sharing. Delivered to your door. Ice if you need it. Like an uber eats but for people whose notions have notions.

Good times.

All I’ve got to hand here is some biscoff and a banana. Would that be close enough to give me the gist? Or not really?

Is there even biscuit in this?

What’s the configuration of these, chocolate on the outside? Chocolate on the inside? I’m concerned the bitterness of the dark choc and earthy meatiness of the fig will be too much.

That sounds promising. Another book I read recently was The Famine Plot by Tim Pat Coogan. Strong on history and less about secrets and more about revelations. Excellent book. Any similarity there?

I’ve not read this one. Let say I’m a fan of history and enjoy the odd secret from time to time would I like this? I recently read and enjoyed Treasure Island for context and it has both.

Well with the current administration’s keen focus on cost of living, cost of childcare, housing affordability, access to maternal healthcare and improving the quality early education I’ve no doubt it will absolutely turn around.

I didn’t have a figure in mind when I clicked that link but it certainly wasn’t that.

Makes perfect sense that the media would go to town researching the background of candidates for a ceremonial role.

Toblerone is the gift that says you deeply know the true desires of men. That you can see into their souls. And that you choose to offer them something that you know will cause them to utterly debase themselves one glorious triangle at a time.

The Beach Boys DMCAing the Epstein video was not on my 2025 bingo card.

I wouldn’t be so hard on yourself. It looks like you were operating a carpool there so I’d say that’s still in the ballpark.
