There is consensus amongst researchers on the topic that property taxation is the most important factor in getting it right. Could be good to invite a bunch to the Parliament for presentations on their findings and the logic.

70% of the Norwegian population supports a strong petroleum sector. Politics in Europe and elsewhere has failed to decarbonise and phase out fossil fuel. So, when we buy, Norway and Canada are the better options in a zero-sum game of the bad and the good.
