The overall idea was cute, but the storytelling style lost me very early on. I don't remember why I read this, I don't know why I finished this and I probably won't even remember reading this a year from now.

"Ae, you start planning in November?" Honey I've been making these since summer. Crucial part of my reading hobby is planning when to read.

I've only read Fairy Cube and I understand it's most likely not the best way to start bc it was clearly axed, but I hated it so much I really have not wanted to read anything else from her. And for some reason I still think I should. Morbid curiosity I guess.

Yeah, this is a Junji Ito work. As always, quality varies, but there were some interesting ideas (the story about cycle of familial abuse & obsession with beauty was interesting). Much better than The Liminal Zone sequel, but nothing new really. Yet I grab a new release from the library every time.

This series go to the category of "clearly YA" but it's fine, had fun. Some of the character writing was good (I liked the last chapters a lot, everyone was having a bad time) and some bad. But it's fine. I've been eyeing the author's other series without knowing it's hers, will read that too!

This has its highs & lows, but I'd say my overall experience was positive! Scifi is a niche in shoujo so it's always nice to read. The author clearly put a lot of effort into the world building, I wish we could have gone even deeper. Liked the message of humanity always having hope for the future.

While I think the overall to do list/red flags to look out for isn't bad, the construction of this work isn't very good. Not a single source sited, no bibliography. This was very USA centric, but this was written for the post 2016 elections America, so I guess it's meant to be so.
