This is democracy literally dying in Texas: Representative Collier is locked up as she refuses to sign a form which enables the illegal redrawing of Texas districts to ensure Trump gets 5 extra seats in the House of Reps in 2026 and thereby keeps control of Congress.
Collier: I refused to sign and so I was told that I was gonna have to stay here on the floor. They have locked the doors. The sergeants have been instructed not to allow me to leave until I have a permission slip.
