Needless to say, March and April data will be more important --but a tactical shift has already been in place.

There's a big fat silver lining here: Private foreign investors are not selling U.S. bonds. Rather their buying was so strong in February that it more than offset the selling by central banks. They also bought the T-bills.

To be sure, we only have data until February --but the hefty and consistent buying of T-bills and selling of U.S. longer-term bonds has painted a clear and distinct picture.
