The game is starting to drag out, and I don't really see it as fun. But I must complete it. So I finally decided to plan things out. Which has been a huge mistake.

Also these devlogs really do come in handy. Rounds broke again, luckily I posted the working code here!

I got a 9-5, so I've been lazy regarding game development. Trying to fit things into the schedule and get accustomed to my new job.

So, I decided to change the look of the game.

Day 13:
Finally, after five days. My files were deleted after fixing the bug. I finally have rounds working. Which previously wasn't working due to enemies being stuck at spawn, and the round being unable to progress, if the enemy number was an odd number. (As enemies spawn in twos)

Day 12:
Yes, it is definately the 12th day. Anyways. Still fixing bugs. Managed to fix the bug where the enemies spawned ontop of each other.

But now, have to deal with another round of breaking bugs! Yay!

Day 11: Just figured out why rounds won't switch. My code can spawn Enemies on top of each other, when they do. They get stuck.

Probably should fix!

Day 10: Fixed enemy collisions. Found out there's a better way to deal with enemy pathing then the current way. I've been doing things.

Rounds still don't work. >:(

Another breaking bug. YAY!!! Round will not start, or will start. Depends on how Gamemaker 2 is feeling.

Day 3: First bug.... wonderful. Trying to implement a local highscore system for my game. But I got this lovely message. Did it before, don't know it no work.
Just gonna post this here, just incase I don't want to work on this today. So I could keep my streak going baby!

Day 2:
Since there is no way I can make the other game to be made on the 30th.

I feel it's a good time to start finishing titles. Here's a game that I repurposed the code to make a game I did for a game jam. For this one, I want to focus on art and effects. Since that's something I suck at.

Day 1:
Man, I suck at keeping up with "daily" goals. Remembered this one time I did a thirty day drawing challenge. Ended up pretty well.

So I think I'll do the exact same here. Do something for a game for each day. Try and release something either a demo, or a short game every 30th of the month.

3rd Journal Entry. Got Level Changes done, surprisingly easy. However, Wall Collisions and Jump collisions are buggy. It should be easily fixed by having a separate ground checker, like I do for the wall checker.

However, the wall checker is not working. Might fix it, but might axe it.

I'm planning on clamping down on a game. See if I can finish a project and release it by the end of my three-month challenge.

Anyways. I'm following a tutorial series by
Pandemonium. Planning on fixing, wall stuck glitch and make some basic levels.
