I don’t usually think I look “old” but today I really thought I looked like the older version of my younger self. I didn’t mind it. Younger me (left photo) had mascara, eyebrow pencil, and lipstick on. Today’s me (right photo) has no make-up on, just glasses. I like the way I look in both photos ❤️

As I watched the blood spurt from my hand I knew I had to think quick or else I’d faint. Thank goodness for random loose diapers in the car!
With my diaper-wrapped bleeding hand, I walked to the nearest grocery store, and did some quick first aid in the grimy bathroom. I feel proud of myself!

Wow. I just finished this. It is fiction posing as biography, a fictional person writing about her deceased wife, who was a prolific author and artist. It’s a good story set in a semi-made up world, as much as it is a finely detailed tribute to the form, research, and art of biographical writing
