I’m sad for you - but they are a tie. Plenty of people are happy to help with the pomchi; not so much the greyhound. Even though this is all she does most of the time.

Today in ‘beloved pets’ - one cat has peed copiously on the bed. Another has chewed through my expensive radio cable. The greyhound has eaten and vomited a pack of butter. At least the chickens are behaving. So far.

A couple of days of #autumn colours in Rye
A smart doorway on an old red brick house. There’s a garland of autumn leaves around an an autumn leaf wreath on the door. Dr Peck is a black Pekin Bantam hen with a very fluffy rear, golden feathers around her neck, and black dolls’ eyes. Raven is black feathered, with a large red cockerel style comb to show she is top of the pecking order.

I don’t think the wonderful @woodlandnomad has brought #TreeClub over here yet but here’s a marvellous specimen given a right angle by wind blowing in off the Channel. And an on point Blue Sky.
A tree - I think it’s a cypress - had its crown bent at 90 degrees from the trunk. It’s against a backdrop of several other trees and bushes and a windswept cloudy but blue sky.

I treated myself to the most sumptuous autumn hare print ofrom The Woodshed Gallery in Folkestone today. I am smitten.
