With a 40% increase, they may have hastened their demise for print. It was the last straw for us. We just cancelled our print subscription.

That said, here are photos of another part of the Garden that has beautiful grasses and flowers with benches.

grow beneath them. So the result is largely weeds and earth. I have spoken to the landscaping crew that has tried really hard to address this, but they say there is not much that can be done.

The NCC advised me that a decision was made not to repair it, as the scope of work to repair/replace the underground infrastructure would have been cost prohibitive and would have required the removal of the trees.

Speaking of those trees, they are having great difficulty getting anything to...

You mentioned the Garden of the Provinces and Territories. I live near there and visit it regularly. Unfortunately, there continue to be a number of issues e.g., the upper fountain is non-operational. 🧵

I have been busy trying to get some issues in #OttawaCentre addressed, eg an empty utility box removed. It's been a challenge.

One @cityofottawa.bsky.social staffer said not to use the MyServiceOttawa portal as it's useless.
