We should always have a deep skepticism of what the police say when not under oath to the press.

It does not deserve the benefit of the doubt we give it.

I mean, DA offices have whole “do not call” lists of cops they predict will lie UNDER OATH.

So… when not? No presumption of regularity.

Every race. It’s basically been every race.

Governors. Mayors. Long-held GOP dog-catchers. School boards. Water boards. Flipped a dungeon master in a rural Iowa D&D club. State senators. State reps. A janitor in Duluth. State justices. Three GOP Uber drivers.

Just everything.

Jan 6 must be fully & conclusively adjudicated in a court of law if this country is to ever move forward.

They can't just wish it away unless we let them.

Somehow today has been a lot, even though nothing went wrong. Maybe I'm just starting to process happening in our country.

I'm not ready to laugh and sing, but it's good to remember this.
