Apparently the Dept of Ed will be much smaller and Trump said no money will go to DEI- but he can't just do that- Congress needs to weigh in. I believe 1300 people were fired- about half the people working for the DoE. Good times (sarcasm).

Yes, Governor Scott's choice for Ed Sec'y has little experience in public ed and has never been a public school teacher or admin. She's from FL and we know how their educational system is going. I'm concerned about his choice. VT reps voted no on her the first round but Scott ended up succeeding.

I knew this would happen. A terrible choice for Sec'y of Ed- coming from FL and thinking VT educators would comply with this nonsense. I'm glad she backtracked and hope she learns from it.
