The 32X in general is just such a cool little curiosity of untapped potential!
I would personally love to see more projects attempt to see how far it can truly be pushed

I would even argue that Virtua Racing on the Genesis with the SVP chip could probably do it, as that game looks to have way more polygons on screen than SMBjr

And ofc there is also the new SuperFX3 chip

The GBA version also had its "blocky" mode that cut vertical res in half but improved framerate

"Fortified Zone 2"
Is a 1992 overhead shooter for the #Gameboy, which sadly only saw a Japanese release back in the day

"Super Blocky Ball"

Which basically cut the vertical resolution in half, with the benefit of an improved framerate.

One game I've always been curious whether could feasably be run on a #SNES with the SuperFX2 or a #Sega 32X with some necessary tweaks

Graphically, it doesn't look THAT much more intense than Starfox 2 or Stunt Race FX
