Once the home of the widow of Ottawa University founder Tauy Jones, today it served as a SWAT training practice house. It will likely be torn down soon.

I remember standing in our driveway in Emporia, watching thr clouds begin to spin and drop on their way to Reading. Radio host Harold Camping insisted that same day-- May 21, 2011--would end in the Rapture. This tornado was overshadowed by the Joplin tornado, which happened the next day.
