Now I'm pondering...what defines a news outlet? Everyone started newspapers (with various degrees of quality and political leaning) in every Kansas town in the 1800s. Many KS towns no longer have a paper, or their paper has no one reporting on public meetings at all.

I am 1 hour, 23 minutes, and 7 customer service agents into trying to figure out why Square won't let me add a custom attribute to our event tickets. I'm hungry and tired and need the restroom. Send me one of those fluffy dogs with a little barrel hanging from its collar, okay?

Looking skyward at 6:15 pm from our home on Constitution Street. It was at this moment, 80 years ago, that the atomic bomb detonated over Hiroshima (it's already tomorrow in Japan, owing to the time difference, so it was 8:15 am Aug 6 there).

Once the home of the widow of Ottawa University founder Tauy Jones, today it served as a SWAT training practice house. It will likely be torn down soon.

The windows were being shattered as I pulled into my driveway across the street.
