Many think there's no point / their voice doesn't matter - on an individual basis, yes - on a population basis - there's a power there. Remember the Antz movie - more of us than there are of them, people need to stand for something - it's only getting worse globally

I have until March/April when my benefits review is due. I have until then to find a placement offer, so I'll have done all the work I can on my side before a change of circumstances - then I'll have a month of gov. Support to keep me employed, and 6 months before removal of disability top up.

I'm looking at becoming a support coach. But how could I become a support coach being disabled to the extent I qualify for state benefits for? Because I've had all the support that I could get and there's nothing left for me that any project could help with now. Can at least help others!

My disability means I'm limited on what I can manage. I may never have the capacity to do more than part time work, but if I stay as I am I'm limited on what I can do further. I should be free to get married, raise a family without fear of losing my income. Job or benefits, real threat

Nobody should be left stuck thinking they have to stay in disability, because of needing a transition into the workplace. Being forced into finding full time work after being on disability for over 10 years is too big of a gamble. People that want to shouldn't have to make such risks.

I had my first appointment since 2022 with my local careers advisory service, as a disabled person going directly to the government's job centre is too financially dangerous. Showing an interest before enough evidence I'm capable of keeping a job can mean losing everything - nuts

Limiting free speech is still not free speech 🤦‍♀️

I have two, Gwen and Ruby. Ones a calico that follows the stereotype for a ginger cat, the other is the sassiest of void kitties you could meet. Gwen is playful, Ruby starts poop only to regret it, on repeat, everyday, any hour. Who's truly the dumber one? XD

Why were early paleontologist so against the idea of feathers? I guess theres got to be the push to convince people to have interest for early funding. I can better believe chickens were close to early dinos knowing dinos had feathers too!

i remember watching that one, it made me laugh a lot! It is pretty interesting though how bone density and an understanding how dinos could just as easy looked so different in their different stages of life, much like how life is now. From plants, to animals, repitles etc. Not a lot look the same.

It does amuse me how many bones were mixed up in a bid to be able to name something. At one point knowing we had so many dinos named, but overtime have been able to understand which bones more likely belonged together, tools to know how and why etc. Greed to be known for the sake of knowledge 😅
