Writing postcards for @activateamerica.bsky.social to the district represented by Congresswoman Kim to tell voters that she was the deciding vote to gut Medi-Cal to fund tax cuts for the super rich! I’m practicing line drawing at the same time on the other side of the postcard.

We're facing dark times. But we together create bits of light. I'm participating in an event that affirms the goodness of our fellow human beings. California Seeds of Support is holding a fundraiser to benefit wildfire-affected communities in Los Angeles. See details below.

I loved visiting Iceland. Your communal pools foster community spirit, and the landscape is wild. But look at how our wetlands are similar. This one is still in progress of a wetland in Richmond, California. The photo didn’t capture the tone, which is more like the version on the right.

I’ll be showing at the Grand Gallery Oakland beginning February 1.

Here’s one done last year showing Mt. Tamalpais in the background, done plein air from where Schoolhouse Creek meets the San Francisco Bay. This area is a bit wild and could really use some native plantings.

Check out the “Art Attack” in Berkeley at the Westbrae Nursery Coop on August 23, from 4 to 8PM. I’ll be one of the vendors. All my net proceeds will benefit groups effectively adding votes for Kamala and other Democrats who will fight for working people.
