WA's gas and electricity prices have tripled since 2020, after the WA Gov let Woodside export domestic gas reserves.

Now Woodside want a 50 year extension for their North West Shelf export terminal.

If it's approved, it will lock in higher prices for decades.

The latest greenhouse gas emissions figures show Australia emits more gas now than when the government was elected.

But the govt wants us to believe we are "on target" to achieve 43% cuts below 2005 levels by 2030.

Enough with the spin: we need to stop approving new coal & gas mines *now*.

Terrible news today:

This year, one-third of coral cover has been destroyed in two northern sections of the Great Barrier reef due to anthropogenic heating.

Results for the southern sections (which were even hotter) have not been officially released.
