do you ever render something but after grueling hours of shading, you realize it looks so flat? Even flatter than when it was not shaded?
It's prob because you don't know where the light source is. Or how far it is to the light source. Sometimes it's ok to let it be unshaded too

I wonder if anime (not counting the moe/super deformed ones) had a habit of making teen characters (aged 11 to 17) looking too short and behaving like elementary schoolers , or adults in the 20-25 age range looking and behaving way too old? Thinking of UC gndam here

I think I'll stay with two headshot commission. My arm hurts like hell 2 days ago, but I'm told to suck it up, so I'll be working on light commission.
