This, on top of environmental collapse, is why you should refuse AI. Refuse it because it makes the world worse for everyone else except the oligarchy. Refuse it because it destroys your ability to think and make decisions, and refuse it because it creates mistrust in almost everything it touches.

When AI is used to create images they do it with the full knowledge and intent on suppressing possibility. That's what you lose when you don't have human agency. You get someone else in charge of narratives that predispose others towards you before you even meet them.
