I had a year’s worth of work destroyed in the span of a week, my proactive actions caused two teams to slip their deliverables, I might lose my holiday vacation, and I may never build a gaming PC again (something I’ve been doing for 30 years) because of the AI bubble. This week sucked for me.

I went undefeated at my LGS for the #mtgatla prerelease! I’ve never done this well ever! Many thanks to @tolariancommunitycollege.com for the ATLA prerelease video and the new guide to building a sealed deck video.

I wish I could be at #MCAtlanta. It’s the closest MagicCon has ever been to me, and I had to attend a work conference instead. It is what it is. Maybe next year I’ll get to go to one.

Finally getting a chance to try "The Library of Midnight" from @dryadtea.bsky.social . It will quickly get renamed in our house as "crack in a glass". Definitely give this a shot. I've got it with milk and sugar, and I could drink my weight in this.

Tornadoes came through our town again. We lost our old radio tower on our shop, and we’re without power. Trees are down blocking the main arteries on our mountain. But we got lucky.

After the recent changes to the #MagicTheGathering products (play booster boxes losing 6 packs, UB sets being higher in costs and now 1/2 of Standard, and the ridonkulous FF pricing), I can’t support Hasbro’s cash grab anymore. Maybe I’ll buy singles from a FLGS, but I’m sad to say I’m done.
