We don’t use generative AI at Strange Scaffold and I can confirm that a *lot* of other studios are not—whether indie or AAA.

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

They really keep messing with their own arguments to continue paying for Game Pass.
XBOX saying Game Pass Ultimate give you access to day-one releases feels a little hollow after all their big titles started offering a premium edition that gave access a week earlier, basically making that the actual release date.

Rice cooker meals. Put in (washed) rice, soy, mirin, fish sauce, and whatever protein I have (usually chicken). Cook for an hour, come back to a delicious meal.

So, do we have any good studies on the amount of content that is not created by humans out there? Vice versa, do we have any studies on the number of real viewers?

So, I haven't actually seen any data that showed a population increase for autism, but, it would be funny if there was and it was mostly just epigenetics from all the weird toxins and smog.

I kept finding cuts on my fingers and I couldn't figure out where from. Turns out this Levi's belt I bought in Japan has a razor sharp thin edge where the buckle is undone, which was cutting me every time I interacted with it

So, I understand that the deployment of the Nat Guard to DC is a terrible break from the norm and that it is not a good thing. But also, I really like the idea of a civilian core doing the beautification and such? Like having govt service that picks up trash and spreads mulch sounds rad af

I wish github would show you how many files were changed in each commit. Or let you dig into each of them. Jr dev did a lint application after a feature, 500 files are changed. Time to dig through 40 commits

Cloud services (aws, gcp, azure) scare me like this.
every site and service youre using should always be treated like you're just squatting in a billionaires house and be ready to leave with your shit at a moments notice. carve a home there like a pest and when it's time to go you do the same in the next place. this is life
