This one sounds interesting, and the fact that is short is a plus too. Really liked 'My Name is Red' but I'm not willing to read another 600 pages of Pamuk.

Indeed 🙂
In Indo-European languages we have the two variations, from Proto-European ("rubeus" in Latin, "rakta" in Sanskrit) and the Arabic one.

enjoyed in that cursed book, before throwing it across the room when on page 316 out of 516, after my lecturer said it wouldn't be in the final exam...). But I digress.
Anyway, the original Turkish is "kirmizi", from the Arabic, "carmesí" in Spanish, but it wasn't translated as "crimson" #etymology

guiris, gambas, ponerse como un cangrejo (to get like a crab).
In English I coined "lobsterization process" for people who get pink or red when they're taking the sun...

I recently rewatched this version and would completely agree with this review on letterboxd. Casting 10/10 for both:

A ★★★½ review of Jane Eyre (1996)
this movie catfished me because the first like 3/4 are so good, and then the last thirty minutes are completely rushed and the emotional impact of the ending is lost.  i actually love william hurt as ...

I think I'm in the minority but I like William Hurt best (romantically, I prefer Michael Fassbender, of course, but that's a complete bias on my part cause he's so fine!)

aquí las hacen con musgo que sale de manera natural y después de instalarse tiene cero mantenimiento. Si pudiera ser con plantas más de tipo suculentas, sería maravilloso y bastante barato.

It is not clear from the article if this is referring to Polish cultural centres or national/public schools where the whole syllabus is taught through Polish (the latter is what I understood when reading the headline). There should be no national/public schools teaching in any unofficial languages.

Lithuanian is the only official language in Lithuania, this excludes not only Polish but also Russian or Romani (& others). So Polish should be offered as a foreign language in all schools together with English or German, and they could open cultural centres where the Polish community can learn.

Algo como lo que hace esta PYME pero con plantas autóctonas mediterráneas, sería una buenísima solución:

Oh I didn't realise your post was from 3 months ago! Sorry you hated it, not for everyone 😅

It's definitely better than Moby Dick. If you started for the romance, you have to wait until she turns 18 and leaves the school, and maybe you're not there yet

It's good! Been there a couple of times, also with musicians. Hope you enjoyed it!
