Corporate governance and gay stuff.

Good tunes. Great coffee shop.
Wonder what the robots were programmed to do if the vote failed…
I believe the announcer said the measure passed with more than 70% of the vote. Musk is now on stage next to dancing robots.

Oddly, this song has meant more to a little gay man 30 years later…

Tractor Supply is seeking to omit two very specific shareholder proposals relating to the end of their DEI initiatives.

It will be interesting to see if these make it to the proxy ballot, but I don’t know their chances…

This might be a new all time record in futility.

A shareholder proposal at Dick’s Sporting Goods received 0.0003% support. Not a typo.

Even factoring out all dual class votes, support comes to…0.002%

It’s quite a day to be at the intersection of being a geek of both planes and corporate governance…

This will be a fun proxy to read.
- Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun will step down at the end of 2024

- Chairman of the board Larry Kellner is also resigning and will leave in May

- Stan Deal, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, is leaving the company effective immediately
Boeing CEO Dave Calhoun to step down; board chair and commercial airplane head replaced in wake of 737 Max crisis

Wonder what’s changed in corporate governance in 20+ years…

Can we please have more proxy contest meetings held in Margaritaville?

(Unfortunately a Court just nixed this one before it could be held…)
