like scriptwriters write shit FOR FREE and some VAs wouldn’t have content without writes it wouldn’t kill them to give a sliver of kudos but i personally don’t think that day will come bc they want instant gratification

i saw someone say re: story-heavy scripts that they appreciate the effort but come on i’m here for the moaning and groaning… and ykw fair do whatever girl but it also made me want to actively discard whatever their opinions are bc they come off as ungrateful

personally i’m going to double down on plot out of spite but ngl it has made me a bit resentful and bitter when i see listeners hype up VAs and cast writers aside for…. actually creating some sort of plot

look i’m not going to generalise listeners/the audience bc some of them are lovely and do give their flowers to writers but some of these people are so hyperfixated on VAs and have a very “just put the fries in the bag” approach to script fill audios

we’re gonna be waiting a long time i fear….
