Is it? Oh right, 5.2 WAR as a 20 year old. 7.1 as a 21 year old. 6 years over 40 homers before turning 30 and made the all star team every year in the 90’s. 600+ homers in his career and one of the all time gold glovers with a shit load of injuries. Yeah, “decent”, sure just make things up I guess.

6 years ago. Has he been MVP caliber since? Not even close. Has he ever been considered MVP caliber besides that year? Maybe the year prior to that, otherwise not even close. He’s just a good player.
