Upon deeper looking, I saw what seemed to be glassware or plastic ware behind the figures. The boy is also holding a glass. I think that the artist may be referring to Tupperware and how childrens’ imaginations can make games and entertainment out of objects found in the cabinets.

This lack of labeling differs from most museum works. The museum also only features Still's work. This allows the audience to hone in on the progression of his work as an individual artist throughout his lifetime as the museum's works are chronologically organized.

Also, Still's decision not to name his paintings matches the starkness of the architecture. So, beside the paintings, the number of each painting is given. Since there aren't titles, the museum doesn't include descriptions. So, meaning is entirely up to the viewer.

I also noticed the DAM has a children's section of the gift store which is a smart idea for families coming to visit the museum who might be inspired to create art after experiencing exhibits.

Generally, I think gift shops add to the museum's overall profit. I also think that the products are mostly either art inspired or pieces of art themselves. I looked through the gift shop and found jewelry and bags with museum paintings on them.

The museum guide pointed out this camera angle highlights how the light filters through the resin. This made me further realize the intricate nature of the structure.
