I like a quiet life. I love my hubby and my dog is my world. Work in education and I'm a carer for my Dad.
Views my own.
To apply for a new job or not? That is the question. I like mine but I fancy this one. Not sure I'm brave enough.

I'm currently reading an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. It's brilliant. Really gripping and it gets under your skin. If you like crime fiction this would be a brilliant choice. It's out in plenty of time for everyone to buy copies for family/friends for Christmas, too. 😁. #BabysBreath #BookSky

Just got back from the gym and realised that I feel really good. I'm really enjoying my PT sessions on Wednesdays, too, even though she nearly kills me 😁. I feel really happy today. PS This is not a kidnap message- I am at home drinking tea 🤣.

1167 minutes of exercise done over 31 days of January for Chron's and Colitis. Apart from this week when I've had a cold I've enjoyed it. I've lost over a stone (7kg) and 11 inches. I'm proud of myself and that rarely happens. I'm going to keep on going but not until this sodding cold does one 😂.

After 20 months of learning Scottish Gaelic on Duolingo I decided to treat myself to a more in depth course so I can grasp the grammar. Here goes 😀.

I really wish I didn't overthink all the time. Lovely long dog walk with Poppy in the snow this morning but since then I've been staring out of the window worrying about getting to work tomorrow. I know there's nothing I can do to change it so why can't I just relax until then?

I'm considering doing a January challenge for Chron's and Colitis UK. 31 minutes of exercise every day in Jan. I'm already going to the gym but not daily. Am I mad? I don't expect to raise much but I feel I ought to put a bit back as they've helped me with my colitis.

Very early Christmas Eve dog walk. Poppy chose the route by totally planting her paws and refusing to go anywhere else 😄.

Not a bad view from my desk today. 😁

The biggest joy of going back to work after summer is seeing the old man walking his very old dog every morning whilst driving in. It makes my heart sing. Long may it continue.
