You'd have to ask the gang at Marvel. I'm sure it was low sales, but I'd be happy to write more Kaine, and more Aracely for that matter. They make the decisions on these things, not me.

I'm not familiar with the Kaine/Scarlet Spider stories, but I love the character and would write him again in a heartbeat.

(And I LOVED working on that Ben Reilly mini.)

I had big plans for them and the whole Mictlan / Coyote / Hummingbird story, it was the whole point of introducing Aracely. I still hope to tell that story one day

Anything that keeps the character active and part of the Marvel Universe if okay with me.

I'd put Kaine and Silver Sable together. Winter Soldier, Deadpool would both be good. I love Namor, but their worlds are pretty different.

Silver Sable

Kaine is a skilled assassin, he’s got a good working knowledge of how to stop someone’s heart… and as a side effect of that, probably a decent idea of how to start it back up.
