I actually find ChatGPT 4.5 a little too casual in the way it responds, especially when a new chat is initiated.

It usually starts its message with something like “Hey Kai! …” which makes me feel like I’m making it go out of its way to respond back

I decided to give ChatGPT a try, to see what all the fuss is about. Its responses were staggeringly vivid and realistic.

But there was something slightly off too. The uncanny valley of prose. I couldn't put my finger on it until I read this passage from Soul Music (Terry Pratchett, Discworld #16).

I used to be a huge Notion fan, even considered myself a "power user" in the beginning.

Lately though (really, for the last three years) I've found myself using Notion less and less and have completely migrated over to Obsidian as my daily note system.

Not the first thing that most of us reach for, but I actually really enjoy writing documentation. I think it’s just as important, if not more so than the code itself.
