Straight out of high school, I worked for a local advertising mailer that also ran free personal messages (not dating ads). I just found an old photo on my computer of one of the wildest messages that got printed.

A screenshot depicting my victory against Chronos in Hades 2. I cleared in 31 minutes, 38 seconds, and 13 milliseconds using the witch's staff and the aspect of Melinoë, fully upgraded to rank 5. My keepsake was the Luckier Tooth, which added an extra death defiance, which I didn't use. I used 3 of my death defiances from the arcana. My familiar was Hecuba and I had a variety of boons from various gods. I don't remember what boon was which god's.

Got my nostrils pierced today! Marked as "graphic" because there might be a bit of dried blood around the piercing in the second picture.
Close up of my nose to show off my two nostril piercings, one on each side of my nose. My septum ring is also visible. A side view of my nose to show the lavender opals of the jewelry. There may be a little bit of dried blood around the piercings, but that could also be the ink from the target marking, or a combination of the two.

This reminded me of some airport bathroom graffiti I saw on the way to Norway for my honeymoon.

Male American Cardinals are small, kind of round birds with bright red plumage, with some black around the beak and eyes and on the wing feathers. I've been playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and my favorite thing to do has been to move the camera to face my characters before I stop playing, so the quick resume gives me a little start

I online thrifted new boots, and when I showed them to @cynlan.bsky.social, he said I looked like a Final Fantasy character with my boot strap on them, and I realized that's my fashion goal now.
A pair of faded burgundy Timberland boots on my feet. The left boot has a black and spiked boot strap. The eyelets of the boots are gold colored. The outer side of the right boot. There is a gold Timberland logo placed by the heel of the boot just above the sole. The inside side of the left boot, showing how the bootstrap is held on. There is a leather strap at the back which buckles, and an O ring connecting the back and top straps. There is also a chain which goes under the boot linked to the O ring.

The Nintendo Switch 2 demo in Los Angeles is apparently going to be held at the CBS studio I used to work at.

It's highly unintuitive, but I discovered that "Followed users" in the interaction settings on posts actually means people who follow you, not people you follow. I set a post to "followed users" before & received replies from people who I don't follow, but who followed me to interact with that post

A duck has decided it lives in my dad's backyard. Him or my brother named it Omar. We think it's a Muscovy duck, but aren't sure.
