Well we found the kittens belonging to the stray we took in, a day later 4 very healthy looking kittens under the shed. She really is a great mom, we are sure she brought them here once I had started looking out for her. We have house guests for the next few weeks.

Ok, I'm ready to point some fingers. These county politicians couldn't get it together after the 2015 Wimberley flood and just kept kicking the can down the road. From what I've read, they had been looking at a $1 million solution and wouldn't use ARPA funds because...it was Biden money.
In areas hit by Texas floods, officials were sent over $5 million in federal ARPA funds in 2021.
They didn't want to spend it on flood warning systems due to their disdain for Biden - and didn't send it BACK because it might go to a blue state, and "values that we in Kerr county don't agree with."
