the lackadaisical attitude from this administration on what is worthy of deportation, combined with the complete lack of attention to detail and unwillingness to right any wrong should be concerning to EVERYBODY.

This isn't a Democrat vs Republican issue. This is an issue of completely ineffectual government all around.

Oregon needs leadership that will follow-through on what the voters are asking for. Not someone who will sit on their hands and shrug because it's not convenient for them.

And ultimately, going against the will of the voters, they decided to roll back the decriminalization and throw their hands in the air to say "well that didn't work"

If you think you're safe from being sent to a Salvadorian labor camp, you're not. Especially if you have any sort of anti-Trump rhetoric out there.

And as we've seen, even if it's a "mistake", it seems unlikely that the "mistake" will be rectified.

I think now is exactly why we have the 2nd amendment. But it's definitely not the only solution to safety and security.

We're also working incredibly hard on our garden this year, developing action plans with our friends and families, and setting up safe spaces for those who will be targeted first.

This feels like a step towards creating a class of indentured servants.

They tried to keep us tied to our jobs with the threat of losing your healthcare.

Now they want workers who risk deportations if not employed by their sponsored company. It's ripe for abuse.

I worry that having the federal government help facilitate that is too "big government" for a lot of people on the right

They boast about "giving the power back to the states" but don't realize how many programs need a centralized collaborative effort to fund and run
