It's not bad to deport real criminals. People who commit truly violent crime should be imprisoned and rehabilitated. However, torture and physical absue are NEVER the answer.

I love the state of Oregon, and we have so much going for us.

So why does our leadership have a problem following-through with the will of the voters?

Remember when we voted to decriminalize substance possession? 1/4

Is the rule of law over?

Due process is gone.

Free speech is no longer.

We are officially back to the wild wild West.

How are you and your communities planning to protect yourselves if law enforcement comes to your door?

How long until Trump violates every constitutional amendment? We're close to 5 or 6 blantent violations at this point.

I wonder if this is cheaper than just paying them more so they can survive in the off season? I wonder how much we spend in admin fees to process these claims vs a reallocation of the equivalent funds towards paying teachers better.

Unions are necessary. The only people who don't want unions are those that lose power when workers band together.
Workers who want to join unions should not be afraid of big corporations like Wells Fargo.

Workers must be able to bargain for better wages, better hours, and better working conditions without illegal corporate intervention.

We must pass the PRO Act.

Congrats to Wisconsin!! This is what happens when PEOPLE vote and not corporate money 👏

Medicare for All isn't radical.

What's radical is that we are the only major country not to guarantee health care as a human right. Every other major country figured out years ago how to provide health care to all at a much lower cost.

Please don't tell me we can't do the same.

The venn diagram of people who didn't pay attention in civics class, who are cheering the end of the #DoE, and think the president is allowed to make unilateral decisions without checks and balances is the most ironic circle I've ever seen.

Right now, we have an authoritarian president.

He called CNN "illegal." He is trying to encroach on the spending powers of Congress. He is going after the courts.

Trump does not respect our Constitution. He just wants more and more power for himself.

It's ironic how much Elon and Trump wants to import "better educated" workers but won't invest in education at home.

There's no room for oligarchy in the USA

Absolutely loving the things @aoc.bsky.social and @sanders.senate.gov are saying I'm Vegas today 👏

It's not radical to ask that our politicians adhere to the rules set out in our #constitution

If we want something changed, we should amend it through the proper channels

Why is our leadership continuing to let #Trump and #Musk get away with this?

Every dollar we spend bombing schools in #gaza is a dollar we could have spent at home hiring more teachers, buying school supplies, upgrading curriculums, and improving facilities.

But I guess we just have different priorities 🤷🏻‍♂️
