Found a Lions bar (brewery) in a Chicago and everyone booed Tr*mp every time he was on the screen and the bar turned the game audio off until the extended presidential bit had ended 🙌🏻

Serious question for Chicago bikers: At what mph of wind gusts do I decide to take the train to work (considering my commute is predominantly on the Lakefront Path)?

I’m obsessed with how quiet it is in my apartment in the middle of the third largest city in the US. (I’m on the first floor and my windows are open.)

World’s saddest beg button?
A crosswalk button attached to an electrical pole. The pole is set back 10 feet from the corner. There is a curb between the street and grass, and the grass rounds down to a ditch and then rises slightly to the pole. Horrific. Hit by the parent of another student, and no charges.
Chicago police confirmed Thursday night that the driver who was arrested was released without charges. The driver's identity hasn't been released. Perez's family said Anakin was walking to school with a sibling and was crossing the street toward the entrance when he was struck. They said the driver, who dropped off her child at the school, did not see the boy and drove nearly the length of the block with him pinned underneath the vehicle. Witnesses told police the car appeared to be moving at a high rate of speed. The driver left the scene but later returned. It was not immediately clear whether she knew she had hit the child, police said.

My walk to the train is gorgeous, and the catalpas (my favorite tree!) are popping right now.
