I went to a semi-local (RARE Southeast chain) called Larry's Giant Subs today, and owing to their King Kong-based aesthetic, I had an epiphany.
Most food joints just... aren't novel experiences anymore. They're just profit churners.

I feel like this is something that all artists, youtubers, streamers, or creators online just need to keep in mind. The version of you someone made up in their head is not your responsibility and not everything needs a response. Just keep on doing what you do.

Knowing that likes are incredibly valuable to the algorithm, yes, I personally find it completely plausible that an account might be hacked just to push an agenda through likes alone, and that a busy, somewhat famous person, might not notice.
