My Goodreads review of Armistice Day by David Drazul: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Kadin's review of Armistice Day
4/5: This novel has all the elements of a good sci-fi story: action, aliens, bleak landscapes, and conspiracy. It was also refreshing to read a story that doesn't immediately make alien overlords twis...

Enjoying this book so far, even though Zoughbie incorrectly states twice that Truman was from Kansas. Someone missed that in the proofreading.
Congratulations to Exeter alumnus Dr Daniel Zoughbie (2008, DPhil International Relations), on the publication of his latest book, 'Kicking the Hornet’s Nest: U.S. Foreign Policy in the Middle East from Truman to Trump'.

The Franklin Free Press AOTW for Nov. 3-8 is Russellville football sophomore QB Whit Goodwin who accounted for all 4 Golden Tiger touchdowns in the team's 29-28 overtime win vs. No. 10 Boaz. Goodwin rushed for 3 TD, threw for another, & also converted two 2-pt conversions, including the game-winner.

My Goodreads review of Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage by Haruki Murakami: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Kadin's review of Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and His Years of Pilgrimage
4/5: Young Tsukuru definitely needed to see a therapist. But seriously, I thought this novel was, overall, a touching story that ran the gamut of emotions. I enjoyed the writing. I was moved by some o...

My Goodreads review of Red Rising by Pierce Brown: ⭐⭐⭐
Kadin's review of Red Rising (Red Rising Saga, #1)
3/5: Before reading, I was told that this book (series) was like Game of Thrones + Star Wars, which I have to say I think is a wrong comparison. It's more like Dune + Harry Potter: Dune because most o...
