Pro tip: if you've got a limescale problem, don't throw big bucks at liquid de-scalers. Buy a bulk tub of citric acid and toss a kettle full of hot water and 4 tbsp of that in the bowl for an overnight soak.

I managed to build one that's capable of completely erasing the smell of my smoker housemate for £60. 12" box fan, the box it came in, a furnace filter, and some duct tape. It's like the full Corsi-Rosenthal box but one filter instead of 3-4, making it more affordable as a starting point.

It's oddly reassuring. If it takes this much energy to maintain hate, then it indicates that the natural state of humans is not hate. It might not be love, but it's probably at least neutral, and that's worth celebrating.

He should get a hobby. One that he can do on his own, ideally, so he can grow a personality before he attempts to interact with human beings again. And I mean a real hobby that he does himself rather than paying someone to pretend.

No society that valued community activities and the arts would have a nonprofit work so hard to prove effects, it would simply recognise that free community activities and the arts are good and should be funded.

Can confirm. I'm involved with my local community hub where they put on free art activities for the community, and they're constantly having to give out questionnaires on mental health to justify the continued funding.
