I have been so busy this week with frustrating work that today was a good break from the insanity.

Oh yeah! I reached the top of the hills behind my house. The first 35 minutes (1.12mi) had an elevation gain of 1,100ft. The next mile had another 500ft. It was then up and down the whole rest of the way. That section kicked my butt at the peak of the day.

Finally did it! COD trail, ridge route to GMR. It was what I would consider a very strenuous hike.
5.1 miles, 1,951 ft gain, just under 2 hours with water/photo breaks.

Participated in a horse desensitization exercise and party. Wow was that interesting and quite fun taking these big scaredy cats through big scary (to horses) things.
We did excellent and eventually aced the course.

After finding that the battery is basically a unicorn I popped it open.
It is using two 7.5 x 38 x 46 (maybe 45) with an integrated bms. Now to source 2 new cells. ;)

There was an insanely good turnout today for the event. We had over 3,500 people in a tiny town.
