I'm with you. I'm absolutely clear about LLM use for assessments not being ok for my module and I also tell students why it's bad. I hope some of them at least listen. I love reading my students' ideas so much! I honestly learn from them every year. Not selling that out to boring predictive text.

I hope they were at a stage at which you could convince them not to. My main teaching theme these days is that there's not one right or wrong answer ((research methods, I know it's different across disciplines). I feel like students want certainty but that's not how it works.
