I laugh at the idea of any of these people having a long term vision.

This is why if I ever give advice to men about relationships my #1 piece of advice is "Do not waste her time"

At the very least keep putting them in the position where they have to defend it on the record

The issue is not necessarily that e-bikes are unregulated. It's that the existing regulations have created a loophole allowing what are essentially electric motorcycles to be classified as e-bikes

Barnes and Noble is a nice rebirth story. They apparently gave stocking control to the local store managers so they can stock things that move locally instead of being forced to carry hundreds of copies of "bestsellers" that don't actually move.

Eventually because you can't find any "centrists" who aren't weird, wishy-washy or boring they switch to the debate format and your political discussion becomes to C list gadflies dunking on each other.

This was one of those movies that I swear played on TV every rainy afternoon when you couldn't go out.

There's a glitch in Tecmo Super Bowl 3 for the SNES that allows you to change the position of your players in the Free Agency screen.

Marshall Faulk was a great Quarterback.

This glitch also can copy players and at one point my roster had 9 Chip Lohmillers playing multiple positions.

It's basically the same thing that happened with upper management when a bunch of companies eliminated middle management. The companies that didn't eliminate middle management became the feeder companies for upper management as upward mobility stagnated.

There'll be a handful of companies in each industry that won't fully adopt AI and will take advantage of the cheaper entry level workforce. They'll be the feeder companies for the whole industry.

As long as the movie is fun the audience won't care.

If there's one thing nice about James Bond it's that after this many decades the storytelling is oddly unencumbered by the lore of the franchise. It's actually a little troubling that the current writers are this concerned about it.

I'm fine letting her fight with the other Republicans and if she becomes a swing vote that's fine.

If I had to give her some grace I'd say "True Believer outsider gets into politics only to realize the party she's aligned with is disappointing" is not a weird turn.

Certainly don't trust her.

I was about to say it looks like a sign made by someone who didn't want to spend the 40 bucks at hobby lobby.

I think my biggest worry is somewhere in Democratic HQ there's a bunch of campaign experts trying to figure out how they can "make their candidates seem sincere" without understanding that it's one of those things that is really hard to fake

In Chicago we get this story every day. "People are fleeing Chicago! Everybody be scared about our population decline!"

Meanwhile Cook County has basically had a little over 5 million residents for over 40 years. It periodically shifts up or down by a few 100k.

Is the money being spent? Are funds now circulating in communities that desperately need economic activity? If the answer is yes I don't care about Food Assistance fraud.

Rich people stealing millions to throw it in their already substantial money piles is a much bigger problem.
