Congrats to Megan Le for winning a JXTX scholarship to Genome Informatics! Megan is a PhD student in Computer Science at MIT, advised by Drs. Heng Li and Bonnie Berger. She develops algorithms for genome analysis, tackling problems in genome assembly, variant calling, and read alignment. [4/8]

Congrats to Zoe Rudnick for winning a JXTX scholarship to Genome Informatics! Zoe is a 2nd-year PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Johns Hopkins, developing algorithms to analyze RNA-seq data—incl long-read and single-cell datasets—to improve isoform quantification.
