The only people snatching benefits from taxpayers is our own Congress and administration. How about we expatriate some of them? In particular the Republican ones.

We also need to identify and label each of these organizations that propped them up as seditious and have them shut down permanently. Federalist society, Heritage foundation, Opus Dei. They, and other seditious organizations like them, need to be rendered unable to operate in US ever again.

Supply chains move fast. You likely already are too far gone, trade-wise, into the "divorce" to turn back. As a matter of fact trust is an issue too, a progressive government here would have to do a lot to convince any country that conservatives wouldn't come back and pull this crap again.

I doubt your current government is so foolish. It's going to take a long time for the US to repair the damage that Trump has done. But seriously, if you care about your country, be politically active and take it seriously. Trump won't be around forever to remind your country. Especially the youth.

Okay, that may be true now, but even today's conservatives (u.s.) are far and away more extreme than the ones from when I was a kid. It only takes a generation. I'm just trying to warn you you all need to be diligent, and keep this stuff snuffed out at the root. Don't assume it can't happen.

...and have them exposed and run out / disbanded immediately. That was the true fall of America, allowing these special interest groups to influence our politics. They make plans, and will wait decades to see their evil made real. Hopefully you all will do better than we did.

Good, and your country needs to keep it that way. They need to learn our lesson that modern conservatism cares more about capital than people. The results are ugly. But the danger doesn't stop there. Your country needs to look for a think tanks, and organizations that simp for conservative values..

That and the fact Alberta is Canadian Texas proves they are just a few steps behind us on the road to fascism. Canada needs to look at our mistakes and do whatever they can to go down a different road. It wasn't so long ago America thought it was immune to this.

While this is great news, it doesn't mean the court has a conscience. For them, it simply wasn't the right case. They fully intend to undo marriage equality, just not with this hypocrite.
